A clear on-screen-words video can help a congregation sing, but the title “lyrics” alone does not guarantee accuracy, suitability or permission for public use.

Use the start and stop fields to remove silence or spoken sections, then rehearse the whole sequence on the actual church internet connection and projection equipment. YouTube timing starts near a video keyframe, so allow a small margin rather than relying on frame-perfect cuts.
Keep a backup plan. Third-party uploads can be removed, made private, geo-blocked or interrupted by platform changes.
The finder indexes public YouTube links and useful metadata; it does not host recordings or reproduce song lyrics. It provides search, playlist planning, timing and a clean second-screen projection window. The church remains responsible for previewing content and meeting its licensing duties.
It depends on your own church’s permissions and the platform’s terms, so it is a question for your church and its licensing bodies rather than one a directory can answer. Showing a video to a gathered congregation raises different questions from watching it privately at home, and recording or streaming raises further ones again. The only reliable check is playing the exact upload yourself, from the first verse to the last. A title containing lyrics, with words or sing along tells you what the uploader chose to type, and it can be inaccurate, incomplete or true of only part of the song. Prefer an official artist, publisher, church or ministry channel where one exists, then compare arrangement, key and word presentation. A video being visible on YouTube does not prove the uploader holds the rights to it, and re-uploads are more likely to be blocked or taken down later. Keep the exact video link and channel name in your own order of service so the same upload can be found and rechecked.
Assume it can happen and choose a second option for every song. An uploader can delete a video, make it private, restrict it by country or switch embedding off without warning, so recheck each item a day or two before the service and again on the morning itself. A different upload, another arrangement or an unaccompanied version prevents a scramble as people arrive.
Streaming is a separate question from showing a video in the room, and both sit with your church rather than with this directory. Recording or broadcasting a service that includes someone else’s video is normally treated separately from projecting it to a gathered congregation, and platforms may mute or block a stream automatically. Ask your licensing bodies and check the platform’s terms before publishing anything online.
There is no reliable way to guarantee advert-free playback, so plan around it rather than promise it. Adverts are decided by YouTube and the rights holders, not by a church or by a directory, and a video that played cleanly last month may carry one this week.
